Job Description
Compensation Analyst, Financial Services, London – Up to £45k + Bonus
A key client of Williams Kent is looking to recruit a Compensation Analyst to work within the Global Compensation team based in the central London offices. The individual will be responsible for the delivery of the annual compensation review, ad-hoc projects and the provision of advice and information to clients across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide accurate, relevant information and analytical support on compensation practices to enable senior management/HR Generalists to make informed decisions
• Modelling of bonus pools to support the business in setting compensation parameters
• Preparation of management reports for senior stakeholders
• Ownership of specific business areas during the annual compensation review; requiring stakeholder management, compensation presentations and real time spend analysis
• Consolidation, analysis and interpretation of market data information and trends
• Submission of annual compensation surveys to market data providers
• Work closely with finance teams across the globe to ensure compensation data has been booked correctly
• Monthly employee data validation to ensure that systems are maintained with accurate compensation data
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the firm
Skills required:
• Experience interpreting and analysing market data is essential (ideally McLagan market data
• Solid experience (3 years+) in reward, preferably within Financial Services
• Strong organisational skills, good attention to detail and accuracy are essential
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent inter-personal skills – to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels (both internally and externally)
• Excellent numerical ability
• Commitment to problem solving and delivery
• A pro-active and flexible attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• An understanding of the financial regulatory environment
• The ability to maintain and promote a strongly collegiate firm culture and to uphold and strengthen the core values of the firm amongst HR staff
• Commercial approach with strong project management skills and ability to multitask
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential, whilst advanced Access and PowerPoint is desirable
