Snr HR/Payroll Share Service Manager – Gloucester -Permanent – £75k – £80k

Williams Kent are pleased to partner with a very well known brand with an important hire. This person will manage the HR and payroll shared service team. This is a fantastic and broad opportunity to join a growing and fast paced organisation during an exciting time of change.

You will have accountability for the execution and future function of Payroll, Employee Data Management and Employee lifecycle across different sites in the UK and Ireland, including the development of the team and the management of the day to day running of the function.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a multi site, Retail or FMCG payroll management role.
  • An expert knowledge of Payroll management and year end reporting.
  • In-house payroll management experience covering UK and Ireland.
  • System implementation experience – SAP Success Factors is ideal.
  • Experience with managing projects across multiple locations and benefits management across UK/IRE.
  • Excellent numerical and analytic skill set, paired with the ability to build a high performing team and influence across a matrix stakeholder group.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the implementation of payroll solutions across the business in line with the operating model and HR strategy.
  • Accurately delivering multiple payrolls.
  • Making recommendations to the business in line with best practice.
  • Leading the roll out of SAP – Success factors across multiple geographies.
  • Lead, manage and promote the UK employee benefit.
  • Administer the UK and IRE Pension schemes.
  • Work with the Group Risk Manager to administer and manage the annual Fleet Risk Programme.
  • Accountable for GDPR and Right to Work compliance within HR Shared service centre demonstrating best practice.
