Compensation and Benefits Manager – International Technology – London

Williams Kent have partnered with a global private tech organisation based in Asia with a fantastic and challenging new role in London. This is a busy role that requires both strategic and technical expertise for someone who wants to make a true impact in a rapidly expanding organisation.

Initially, you’ll be using your local Compensation expertise to redesign and initiate new policy and procedures across Europe to help attract and retain top talent in line with the organisations strategic goals.

Role responsibilities will include:

  • Design and fine tweak compensation policies for all job families in across EMEA countries, through research on compensation policies and practices.
  • Optimize current benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, effectiveness and the alignment with the company’s core value and culture.
  • Monitor local regulations & legislation, and work closely with legal to make sure C&B policies comply with local laws.
  • Manage Performance Review and Promotion/Salary review projects for local teams: work closely with the central CBP team to create Performance Review and Promotion/Salary review policies; communicate policies to local HRBPs and coordinate with them to ensure smooth progress; collect local feedback, analyze actual data and work with the central CBP team to enhance policies, online portal functions and project management.
  • Provide recommendations to business key stakeholders in tackling difficult cases in the area of compensation, incentive plans, benefits for employees motivation in order to achieve their business goals.
  • Manage vendor relations with outside firms.

Frequent international travel is also required to work closely with the global Comp and Bens team, particularly in the first few months and throughout the on-boarding process in order to gain a strong knowledge of the business strategy and existing policies.

Required experience:

  • Working experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in HR C&B area, experience in the tech or a consulting firm is preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities: Analyze trends, surveys, and spreadsheets to determine C&B strategies.
  • Great communication skill: Be able to communicate effectively with employees, the broad HR team and business lead & also be comfortable presenting programs and plans to employee groups, HR and leadership teams.
