Central London – £45,000 – Permanent 

Learning and Development Advisor- Finance Industry

Role : Permanent, London (Hybrid Working Model, 3 days in Office)

Salary : Up to £45,000 

Role Responsibilities :

• This Learning & Development Advisor will have primary responsibility for overseeing the professional qualification process for all employees (excluding General Practice trainees).  The process is already established although requires some finessing and this role will be responsible for reviewing the process, to ensure it is beneficial for both our people and our business.

• The Learning & Development Advisor will also be responsible for overseeing compliance learning and elements of technical-based learning, liaising with both the Compliance and Technical teams as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the processes for professional qualifications for all individuals (exc. General Practice trainees)

• Ensure the processes are fair, transparent and provide benefit to employees, departments and business

• Review individual requests and business cases: question and challenge where appropriate

• Discuss each request with the Learning & Development Manager and/or Head of Learning & Development

• Draft study agreements, including clawbacks

• Discuss the process of monitoring attendance and performance with the individual

• Empower managers to support individuals through their professional qualifications and provide managers with advice and guidance, where appropriate

• Understand the application process for professional qualifications with the most used professional bodies

• Understand the requirements of professional bodies, including CPD

Experience Required : 

• Shares the firm’s desire to help employees succeed

• Ideally has previous experience within Professional Services

• The ability to progress multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proactive mindset and is confident working autonomously

• Professional and confident with the ability to forge strong professional relationships

• IT literate with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Team-orientated approach

• A confident communicator, able to deal comfortably and credibly with individuals at all levels

• Educated to A level or equivalent
