Executive Reward Analyst – Reading – £35,000 – £45,000 – Permanent – Technology

Due to an internal promotion, a key client of Williams Kent in the tech space is seeking a new Analyst to join their Executive Reward team.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to accelerate their career in a global reward role that offers plenty of personal training and development.

You will provide expert analytical support in the specialist area of executive reward to enable quality, evidence-based pay decisions for top executives and other senior leaders.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

 

  • Model executive package values to attract quality leadership talent in key markets.
  • Partner with the Reward Specialist – Analytics to select market data sources; provide executive market intelligence for the Reward & Recognition team’s inputs into the business planning cycle.
  • Perform reward-related due diligence assessments on M&A targets and provide integration analyses to decision-makers.
  • Provide analyses on executive remuneration for Remuneration Committee papers.
  • Own the executive remuneration database and associated exec remuneration management reporting, ensuring data and reporting is timely and accurate.
  • Track director remuneration and other statutory executive remuneration-related disclosures (e.g. CEO pay ratio).
  • Build reliable pay models and analytics for decision-makers (cyclical and ad hoc models). Design incentive models and assess of fitness-of-purpose of existing models, inputting into discussions on their efficacy.
  • Calculate Executive Committee incentive plan forecasts and outcomes for the RemCo.

You should have:

  • Strong understanding of an annual reward cycle and the executive Reward sub-function’s place in the employment proposition from attraction through to exit.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to draw meaningful and reliable conclusions from large, complex and sometimes incomplete datasets.
  • Ability in basic statistics (mean, median, quartiles, standard deviation, linear regression) and ability to apply knowledge of basic economics (nominal vs. real wages, supply and demand, productivity).
  • Strong understanding of market pay dynamics.
  • Ability to build complex models.
  • Familiarity with the main UK statutory remuneration reporting requirements.
