Talent Acquisition Partner

What skills we are looking for:

  • Directly source candidates through various methods; on-line (LinkedIn), university networks, careers fairs, networking, our website and referrals.
  • Experience interviewing candidates – competency-based and technical.
  • Experience using coding test platforms such as Codility, as part of the recruitment process.
  • Liaise with supplier agencies in UK / Europe and report back to the hiring Manager and the Recruitment Manager, when necessary.
  • Manage work authorisations as part of the recruitment process
  • Select, screen and interview candidates: arranging interviews, organising technical test, technical presentations, references / background checks when necessary.
  • Manage job offers with candidates, hiring Manager, recruitment agencies and the Recruitment Manager.
  • Advise on the best recruitment process and take account of industry trends and new ways of uncovering talent.
  • Provide regular reporting and status updates to the hiring Manager and the Recruitment Manager

What skills you should have:

  • At least 4 years’ experience of recruiting technical roles within different areas at any levels.
  • Experience in recruiting technology-focused roles would be of benefit but isn’t essential.
  • Previous experience as an in-house recruiter (ideally in the software and / or engineering sector) would be ideal from a medium volume recruitment background.
  • Degree educated (with a science or maths background is helpful).
  • Experience utilising an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or similar tools
  • Experience of proactive direct sourcing using a variety of mediums including social media and job boards.
  • Build and manage talent pools of relevant candidates. Attract talent to the business by identifying, networking and building long term relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influential skills as you will engage with several highly intelligent internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a great telephone manner (professional yet friendly). Proactive and organised at responding to candidates and hiring managers.
