I was surprised and positively delighted with how quickly Kevin presented candidates for all four roles I had briefed him on – and importantly, the quality was outstanding. He gave me
a variety of talent in terms of levels, styles and strengths but all were a good use of my time
to interview. I had shortlists within 2-3 weeks of instructions and was at offer stage within a
further 2 weeks. He even scored a 1 candidate to 1 offer and 1 acceptance for one of the
most challenging roles. They really went above and beyond, helping me with candidate
documentation and even job specs themselves to help me move fast. I found Williams-Kent
efficient at arranging interviews and ensuring candidates were properly briefed before
meeting me, and effective at negotiating offers. Ultimately, results are what counts and Williams-Kent have quantifiably delivered on that at every stage of the process, but quality and professionalism is what makes the difference. Although I mostly worked with Kevin, I also was supported by Jade, who was also excellent and responsive, but in conversation with candidates at interview I know that several others were involved behind the scenes and candidates were uniformly positive about their experience. I have found everyone I’ve interacted with to be professional, informed, responsive, objective and supportive. I would have no hesitation in recommending Williams-Kent for mid to senior level HR recruiting – in my experience, they really stand out from their peers in both approach and results.
I had started working with Jade two weeks ago and in that time she has successfully placed an excellent candidate in the critical role of ER Manager (maternity leave cover). We had engaged another agency we had been using for some weeks/months, but the quality of the candidates provided by Jade and the speed of delivery exceeded all expectations. Jade continues to work on another vacancy in the team and I have positive expectations of the outcome.
I find Jade herself, professional, knowledgeable about HR/ER, friendly and responsive. I look forward to working with her in the future and have no hesitation in recommending her and Williams Kent.

I don’t usually work with exclusive agency remits – all eggs in one basket etc, but I think I am now converted! The benefits I saw were that we knew that we would be dealing only with Willams Kent and as such all effort generated was towards a common goal, this felt much more like a partnership arrangement rather than the ’normal’ agency ‘ relationship’ that I have worked with previously and I much preferred it. Besides which, given your niche expertise in the Reward space, I was confident after meeting with Kevin – and proved right – that you had some excellent candidates that you could present.
What I liked, in particular, was that Kevin really listened to the brief and as such the candidates who we interviewed were well prepared, had very relevant experience to present and were already enthusiastic about our organisation which, given recruitment is a two-way process, helped us to ‘land’ the person that we wanted.
On a more personal note, I really enjoyed working you, Kevin. You were very responsive and focused on achieving a great outcome both for you and us.
Great result, I can’t recommend you and Williams Kent highly enough!
HR Director, National Instruments
We needed to recruit for a HR Reward & MI Manager on a 3 month fixed term contract. This was an urgent requirement and called for a specialist skill set, including experience using Croner Job Evaluation. Therefore we felt that Williams Kent, as a Reward specialist Recruitment Firm, was best placed to fill the brief.
We were very pleased with both the speed of delivery and the quality of CVs that Williams Kent produced and an offer was issued to the successful candidate within two working days.
The contractor that Williams Kent provided us with was able to start immediately and was an excellent fit, both with the needs of the role and with the team. They delivered very successfully against the projects and work that we, at Save the Children, needed within the agreed timescales.
If I had any recruitment needs within the Reward space I would not hesitate to use Williams Kent again.
Head of HR Operations, Save the Children UK
We approached Williams Kent a few weeks prior regarding our vacancy for a new HR Director and were immediately impressed with their quick and professional response.
Kevin and Amy took the time to visit our offices to discuss our requirements in detail as well as arranging calls with the other stakeholders to fully understand the needs of the business.
I felt that they had properly shortlisted appropriate candidates for us, rather than send through any that might be a possible match and was pleased with the quality of candidates they presented to us.
Not only were they a good match to the company with the broad range of experience and knowledge that we were looking for, but they were all also experienced in dealing with growing businesses and the particular issues arising from having entities in multiple international locations.
Our culture is very important to us, and in addition to the desired technical expertise, the successful candidate would also need to be suitable in terms of personality and character. I felt that Kevin and Amy truly understood this and applied these criteria when making their selection.
After only interviewing four candidates, I am thrilled that we have now filled the position and am confident that the appointment will stand the business in good stead in delivering our ambitious plans for the future and addressing the challenges we face.
In summary, I would not hesitate in recommending Williams Kent.
We first engaged with Matt and the team at Williams Kent when we urgently needed to hire a compensation Analyst. Within a very short timescale, we were presented with a list of highly skilled and well matched candidates, we subsequently appointed one within about 48 hours! Since then we’ve worked with them on several assignments in our international HR team, each time they demonstrate a real understanding of their subject expertise as well as provide an enjoyable partnership to work with by taking the time to build a true relationship & understanding of our business. They’re a real credit to the industry & I’d not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an expert partner to support their recruitment needs.
